We know learning is easier when you have an excellent teacher. Our instructors are certified through the American School of Protocol and are passionate about the subjects they teach. They bring enthusiasm and excellence into every course.
Through various etiquette programs, our students gain confidence and embrace the importance of self respect, as they become increasingly aware of their social presence and how it impacts society.
I know it sounds simple, but during this trying time, remember our words have weight. Take the time to say, “please,” “thank you,” “you’re welcome,” and “excuse me.” It has the power to brighten someone’s day and start a chain reaction of kindness. Ps. You get bonus points if you throw in a compliment. 😊
Simple gestures of kindness like holding the door open for someone may seem small in the moment but can have a bigger impact than we realize. Take time today to help someone in your life, even if it’s a quick text or call of encouragement. They’ll appreciate it more than you know.
Everyone has the right to be respected and heard. Though it can certainly be easy to forget in the middle of an argument. If we take the time to listen to someone despite our disagreements, we not only honor them, but teach them how to do the same.
There is probably no greater sign of respect than respecting someone’s time. I know there are emergencies, but always try to be on time for an engagement. Being late is irresponsible and sends the message that your time is more important than theirs. Communicate if you will be late, it's a courtesy.
Expressing gratitude, especially with a handwritten note, not only shows someone you value them, but also allows you to take a break from the constant buzz of technology. So, dust off your pen, find some nice blank cards, and let someone know you’re thankful for them.
We’ve all been in that situation where we only know one other person at a party, and feel we need to cling to them like a lifeline. If you’re at an event where you know someone needs a little help, take the time to introduce them to other people. You can also take it a step further and find some commonalities so they can chat without you.
